Job description
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our busy Collections Team within the Finance and Procurement service on a permanent basis, based at our Aberystwyth office.
On a day to day basis duties will include:
updating and maintaining various systems to ensure information on Residential care clients is accurate and up to date;
invoicing
of charges to clients within Residential Homes;
liaising with various personnel in respect of clients in Residential care;
ensure that benefits and pensions are being received correctly for those clients that have opted for the Council to be their appointees;
general office duties to include preparing and mailing letters and invoices.
We are looking to recruit an individual:
that is familiar with financial tasks;
has good customer care skills and is a good communicator;
with an ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines;
able to work on their own initiative and as a member of a team
who is familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word and email.
