We are seeking a dynamic, motivated and empowering individual who has the personal qualities, experiences and skills necessary to lead and enhance the diversion of young people from crime, court and custody within Ceredigion and to provide support and supervision to staff members within the Youth Justice and Preventions Team.
The post holder will be expected to play a key role in the delivery of criminal justice services for young people and to hold a small caseload of complex cases. They will also represent YJPS in criminal courts and contribute to the teams quality assurance processes.
The post holder will have opportunities to collaboratively develop and lead targeted early intervention and preventative projects within Ceredigion's new integrated services delivery model - Porth Cymorth Cynnar; ensuring that the needs of Ceredigion's most vulnerable and challenging children and young people can be met and that they can access support and intervention that promotes their wellbeing and engagement in positive structured interventions.
