We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our community occupational therapy service in Ceredigion. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic innovative and rapidly transforming integrated occupational therapy service set in beautiful West Wales.
The successful applicant will have extensive experience of working in a health or social care environment; in particular experience in promoting individuals’ independence using a re-ablement approach.
You will be expected to work as part of a team to support the delivery of a high quality, evidence-based, person-centred occupational therapy service; assessing the needs of adults and older people and supporting the provision of basic equipment and housing adaptations to maximise independence, safety, and quality of life under the supervision of registered Occupational Therapists.
You will have support from an integrated occupational therapy team which values supervision and continuous learning and development.
The post-holder will be expected to travel within Ceredigion. The ability to speak Welsh or learn to the required level within 2 years of appointment is essential for this post; English and/ or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
