Job description
Our Finance & Procurement Service is looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual to help take the service forwards and rise to the continued financial challenges facing the Council. The role of Service Accountant - CLO Support is a senior role within the Service and will manage 11 staff across 2 teams supporting the following
Service areas:
Adults
Social Care
Children's Social Care
Highways & Environmental Services
Customer Services
The post will lead on the key functions of Budgeting, Financial Reporting, Accounts Closure, Providing Financial Advice and Financial Management of Grant schemes for the range of Service areas supported. Consideration will be given to those with suitable experience who are fully CCAB qualified or alternatively who are Part Qualified and willing to achieve the full qualification within an agreed period. Candidates who are Part Qualified are expected to demonstrate their commitment to qualify in their Supporting Statement.
In exchange for your skills and interest, we will offer in return:
