We are looking to recruit a Health and Safety advisor to join our busy Health and Safety team based at our Aberystwyth office.
As an integral part of the team you will provide a proactive and responsive Health and Safety service, using your experience gained in previous Health and Safety roles.
You will support the Health and Safety team through the provision of expert support and advice. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help support all Council employees to consider and mitigate risks involving all aspects of Health and Safety management.
In addition to this, as a point of contact for outdoor learning events within the various education providers within the Council you will assist the School and Learning services to manage risks arising in these areas and apply the EVOLVE system to support the planning, approval and monitoring of educational visits and extra-curricular activities.
The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, with excellent problem solving skills with the ability to deliver training and advice fluently in both Welsh and English.
