Assistant Collections Officer
Job description
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our busy Collections Team within the Finance and Procurement service on a permanent, full time basis, based at our Aberystwyth office.
On a day to day basis duties will include:
ensuring prompt and timely payment of fees to Residential Homes;
invoicing of charges to clients within Residential
Homes;
updating and maintaining various systems to ensure payments to Residential Homes and invoices to clients are accurate and up to date;
liaising with Residential Home managers, clients, client representatives, social workers and other officers from various teams within the Council.
We are looking to recruit an individual:
with 2 years' experience of a financial role;
with a high level of interpersonal skills;
with an ability to work to deadlines and to prioritise competing and conflicting workloads;
with an ability to carry out tasks with accuracy, attention to detail and professionalism;
who has intermediate level skills in the use of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
The ability to communicate in Welsh and English is essential.
